Meet Bonnie!

"Waitin' for Dad"

Bonnie (alias Bunny) came into our lives and hearts in January of 2005. She was very shy at first and shrank away, especially from men. Soon, she and our male Doberman, Max, were fast friends, and she was bonding with senior citizen Lady and even our cat.

As Bunny came to trust her new human family, her sweet, playful, bright personality came to light. She is “Daddy’s Girl” now and loves all the big guys in this house and their friends, too! She loves to play and run and chase ducks (who annoyingly fly away) and wrestle with Max. And steal socks. She is always ready for a snuggle and a ride in the car and a rub on her soft velvet ears. She’s a fast learner and has great manners.

Max is teaching her to sneeze when she wants something, so now we have two sneezers! Thank you, Doberman Rescue of North Carolina, and special thanks to Bunny’s foster mom, who knows why we love her so much.
