Meet Lyla! (renamed "Maggie")
I wanted to share my story of Maggie with you at the Rescue Center. Maggie has become my very best friend. We go for walks and she's just the most reliable companion. If we meet other walkers, Maggie is very social to both the walker and their dog. (I am so proud of her.) As you know, I take Maggie to doggie daycare and she has become April's star story. (I have attached.) We still have some work to do together but Maggie is a fast learner. For the first time she is actually playing. When she came to my house, she wanted to stay in one room. Now we have pillow fights, fetch the ball and she actually has fun. I had begun to wonder if she would ever let down her guard. And yes, from time to time, I get that Dobie smile.
